THE ALASKA RESEARCH CUBESAT TEAM
Morgan Johnson
Subsystem Lead
Morgan was born and raised in Fairbanks, AK. She received her bachalors in Electrical Engineering in 2015 and is working towards her masters. Morgan is responsible for the Launch Environement Data Logger (LEDL).
Chic Jordan O'Dell
Subsystem Lead
Jordon was born in North Carolina and is working towards his bachalors in Electrical Engineering. He is responsible for the external solar panel boards and currently is taking reins on our communication subsystem.
Jesse Frey
Electrical Lead
Jesse Frey was born and raised in Fairbanks, AK. He received his bachalors and masters in Electrical Engineering at UAF. He has been working on the CubeSat since the satellite started in a Space System Engineering Class. He manages the system software and is responsible for the Attitude Control and Determination subsystem (ACDS).
Matthew Pacheco
Mechanical Lead
Matt is from Mississippi, and moved up to Alaska with his family. He is completing his bachalors in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis in Aerospace. Matt leads the team responsible for the structure, mechancial and thermal subsystem (SMT).
